Frankie Rogers, integrative counsellor
About Frankie

I'm an approachable, authentic, integrative counsellor — I tailor every session to the person in front of me, not the other way round.

I work with adults and children facing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, low self-esteem and burnout. There's no one specific type of person I work with — I'm open and welcoming to all.

I'm myself neurodivergent, and through my training and first-hand experience, I find ways to support people who feel traditional talk therapy hasn't worked for them. I'm understanding towards every person who enters my therapy room, and I adapt to what you need.

I'm LGBTQ+ affirming and work closely with local organisations to support wellbeing across the community, and I've volunteered as a counsellor for a men's mental health charity — something I feel strongly about continuing in Cornwall.

How we'd work together

An integrative approach, built around you

Person-centred therapy

You lead, I follow

Sessions shaped around what you bring, not a fixed script — warmth, empathy and genuine understanding, at your own pace.

Cognitive behavioural therapy

Understanding the patterns

Where it helps, we'll look at the links between thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and find practical ways to shift them.

Creative & arts therapy

Beyond just talking

For things that are hard to put into words, we can bring in creative, holistic and integrative arts-based approaches.

Walk and talk therapy

Fresh air, open space

Some conversations feel easier side-by-side outdoors. Walk and talk sessions are available for those who'd prefer it.

A space built on being genuinely welcoming

Neurodivergent-ledI'm neurodivergent myself, and I bring that lived experience into how I adapt sessions for people who feel traditional talk therapy hasn't worked for them.

LGBTQ+ affirmingWorking closely with local organisations to offer wellbeing support for the LGBTQ+ community in Cornwall.

Men's mental healthVolunteer counsellor for a men's mental health charity — this remains something I feel strongly about across Cornwall.
